I first came across Gregory when looking through my local outdoor goods store – and instantly knew it was the brand I wanted to have on my back. I decided to go with the 65L due to the amount of base gear that I carry on every hike or trip – here is a more in depth review. Regardless of where I am going, either than places specifically banning drones, I carry:
- DJI Mavic Pro + Controller + 2 Batteries in Shoulder Bag
- DJI Mavic Pro Osmo + 1 Battery
- 10,000 mAh portable charger
- Stabilized iPhone Gimbal
- 3L Filtration Pack
- Hammock
- 2 Flashlights
- First Aid Kit
- Gregory Baltoro 75L Rigid-Frame Hiking Backpack
After all of that, you throw in a tent, sleeping bag, jacket and other supplies, and the Gregory still has room to spare. I think that one of the best features, especially for someone with loads of shit every-time they hike, is the metric shit ton of pockets on this thing. 2 on the top, 4 on the front, mesh outer pocket, and the usual hip belt pockets (and one that is fully sealed). Well, thats all that I have found so far – stay tuned when I find the few more that I have probably been missing from the Gregory Baltoro.
